Field Of Expertise: BCNL specializes in legal expertise, advocacy, and capacity-building to strengthen civil society organizations, improve the legal and regulatory environment for COSs, and promote active civic participation and the rule of law in Bulgaria.
For 25 years, the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law has been working to strengthen the environment in which civil society organizations in Bulgaria can develop, operate freely, and be useful to society. Our role is to support the NGO sector where the legal framework, institutional practices, or public debate create obstacles – through expertise, analysis, and targeted work focused on the real needs of organizations.
