The Balkan eCommerce Summit has launched a large-scale international eCommerce survey, now active across five key markets in Southeast Europe – Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, and Hungary.
The initiative aims to gather valuable data and insights from online retailers, service providers, and eCommerce professionals, in order to map out the current state and development potential of the digital commerce ecosystem across the region.
Within the first two weeks, more than 300 businesses from Bulgaria and Croatia have already completed the survey, marking an encouraging start. However, the goal is to achieve balanced participation from all five markets to ensure a comprehensive and accurate picture of regional trends.
“The more data we have, the better we can understand what businesses in each country need,” says Nikola Ilchev, Founder & CEO of the Balkan eCommerce Summit. “Comparing insights between markets allows us to provide more relevant guidance and strategies through our network of experts, partners, and organizations supporting the Summit.”
The collected data will be analyzed and published in a dedicated regional eCommerce report, which will serve as a valuable reference for companies, investors, policymakers, and professionals seeking to understand and expand within the Balkan digital economy.
