Predrag Jokić is focused on what actually moves the needle in emerging markets: practical strategy, measurable performance, and systems that scale across borders. As a Brand Ambassador for the Balkan eCommerce Summit 2026, Predrag is committed to helping the Western Balkans grow faster through stronger partnerships, better knowledge exchange, and a shared focus on execution.

In this interview, Predrag shares how they plan to contribute to the Summit community, why AI will become the intelligence layer behind every major eCommerce decision, and what the next “big thing” could look like as commerce shifts from browsing to delegation.

As a Brand Ambassador for the Balkan eCommerce Summit, how do you aim to contribute to the community, and what do you hope to get out of the role in 2026?

As a Brand Ambassador of the Balkan eCommerce Summit, I want to contribute by sharing practical insights, real performance data, and scalable strategies for emerging markets.

The Western Balkans has strong potential, but deeper collaboration and knowledge exchange will be key to accelerating growth.

In 2026, my goal is to strengthen regional partnerships and help position the region as a competitive, innovation-driven eCommerce ecosystem.

How do you see AI shaping the future of eCommerce?

AI will become the intelligence behind every major eCommerce decision, from predictive demand planning and dynamic pricing to hyper-personalized product recommendations and automated customer communication.

Brands that integrate AI proactively will not just react to trends. They will anticipate customer needs, optimize operations in real time, and deliver highly personalized experiences at scale.

What is the next “big thing” in eCommerce?

Just as smartphones, marketplaces, social media, search engines, and AI fundamentally redefined how we shop, the next frontier is shifting toward three major pillars that will move us beyond the “click-and-buy” era:

  • Agentic Commerce: The Rise of the Autonomous Buyer

We are moving from “scrolling” to “delegating.” In this next era of eCommerce, your personal AI agent, which deeply understands your budget, style, and household needs, does not just recommend products. It acts on your behalf.

Probably, in the near future, we will have these AI Agents automatically handling our purchases, whether it’s finding the cheapest flight tickets, picking out clothes that fit our style, ordering groceries from online markets, or surfacing the best gaming deals. For the consumer, this means automatic cost savings and the definitive end of “search fatigue.”

For companies, this shift drives massive customer retention and higher LTV (Lifetime Value), as the service becomes an indispensable part of the user’s daily life, much like a seamless yearly subscription (similar to Amazon Prime or Netflix).

  • Spatial Computing (The End of 2D Browsing)

The leap from a flat screen to an immersive 3D environment. With AR and spatial headsets, e-commerce becomes a physical layer of your reality. You can “place” a 1:1 scale digital twin of a sofa in your living room or walk through a virtual boutique where digital fabrics reflect real-world lighting. This eliminates the “uncertainty gap,” which is currently the biggest barrier to high-value online conversions.

  • Ambient Shopping (Invisible Ecosystems)

Shopping is ceasing to be a destination (a website or app) and is becoming a background layer of daily life. Whether you are watching a stream, looking in a smart mirror, or driving a connected car, the environment itself becomes a frictionless point of sale. Through biometric payments and instant visual recognition, the distance between “seeing” and “owning” is reduced to a single second.
