On 15 October, Elina Milcheva represented Balkan eCommerce Summit at Reshoper Prague, connecting with professionals from the international eCommerce community and presenting the opportunities offered by the growing Southeast European market.

The visit provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives with companies across the industry, explore common business challenges, and establish new professional contacts that could develop into future partnerships.

Growing Interest in Southeast European Markets Discussions throughout the event highlighted the interest in eCommerce development across Southeast Europe and the opportunities available to companies looking to expand into regional markets.

As businesses increasingly explore cross-border growth, understanding local market conditions and finding reliable partners remain essential. Logistics, payment solutions, cross-border operations and building trusted business relationships were among the key topics connecting companies from Central and Southeast Europe.

These shared challenges underline the importance of international industry events that bring businesses together and create opportunities to exchange experience, explore new markets and develop long-term partnerships.

Networking Beyond Borders

Representing Balkan eCommerce Summit at Reshoper Prague helped strengthen the event’s connections with the international eCommerce ecosystem and introduce more companies to the opportunities available in the Balkans.

The conversations initiated during the visit will serve as a starting point for continued communication with international businesses and potential partners interested in the region.

Reshoper Prague also offered an interesting event experience, combining an exhibition area with a dedicated conference stage. Attendees could listen to presentations using headphones, while reusable glass bottles and filtered water refill stations demonstrated practical approaches to reducing single-use waste at events.

Continuing the Conversation at Balkan eCommerce Summit 2027

Building on the connections established in Prague, Balkan eCommerce Summit will continue engaging with international companies interested in the region’s eCommerce potential and opportunities for cross-border collaboration.

The next edition of Balkan eCommerce Summit will take place on 20-21 April 2027 in Sofia, Bulgaria, bringing together eCommerce businesses, industry leaders, technology providers and decision-makers from across Southeast Europe and beyond.

Through its growing international network, the Summit aims to help businesses build meaningful connections, exchange knowledge and explore opportunities for expansion across borders.

The conversations in Prague are another step towards strengthening these connections and bringing the international eCommerce community closer to the Balkans.
